The Box One chain is protected by our dual-coating. We start with Nickel plating which aids in corrosion resistance and then top it off with the "Diamond-Like Carbon" layer. The DLC is as fancy as it sounds; a synthetic diamond nano-coating that turns up the volume on hardness, wear-resistance, and slickness. All Prime 9 chains have chamfered shifting edges, solid plates and solid pins to safeguard durability. Our unique inner link spacing is engineered to grab those modern wide/narrow chainrings. We chose to modernize the 9-speed platform due to the chain's spirited reputation. All Box headsets are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. As we follow the load paths down the handlebars, through the stem-to-bar interface, we arrive at the headset focal point. Since any steering stiffness can easily be lost to headset play, we have concentrated our attention on manufacturing tolerances and quality of materials for the bearing, CNC bearing cover, and crown race. Now that this junction is steadfast you can rest assured that your cockpit’s steering stiffness will transfer onto the fork. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency. Key differences: In this particular model headset we’ve gone to a 1.5” bottom race to fill a tapered head tube. This mates with our oversized X5 carbon fork. Larger and smoother contact areas spread the load effectively and counteract flex. FEATURES - Oversized Technology™ - Massive 1.5” Diameter - Massive Sealed Bearings - Star-Nut Compression System - Includes 1-?” Reducer Race for 1-1/8” Steerer Tube COMPATIBILITY - Box One X5 Fork - Box One X2 Fork - Box One XL Fork - Frames with an Integrated NON-Tapered Head Tube

All Box stems are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. As we follow the load paths down the handlebars we have focused our attention on the stem-to-bar interface. Since the Oversized handlebars have an increased wall thickness and tube diameter in this sector we have reciprocated with an augmented stem interface with greater surface area. We’ve done this by moving material from low stress areas. This has greatly minimized twist and contributed to responsiveness. As the stem in mated with the handlebars we have contributed to increased pedaling stiffness by providing a backstop to the “lifting” phenomenon. There is no point pushing hard on your pedals if you can’t pull up on your handlebars and deliver that power. Power can easily be lost to handlebar-to-stem deflection and the consequences can be poor power delivery and steering control. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency. Key differences: In this particular model stem we’ve tailored the Oversized strategy to favor utility and access. The geometry has been altered to allow for easy handlebar removal while at the same time scavenging material from low stress zones. Ideal for those who don’t want to compromise on user experience to gain performance. These stems are engineered for the larger-sized racers.

The Box Three E-Bike Cassette offers high gears with more teeth to withstand the rigors of modern E-Bike riding. Adding an extra tooth to each of the three highest gears provides increased durability and decreased wear by distributing the load over a larger area! The Box Three E-bike cassette draws from both of its Box One and Box Two siblings to create a sensible all-rounder. All cogs are stamped from steel and subsequently, the larger ones are pinned to steel spiders. The main difference here versus Box Two is the use of additional weight-reducing holes on the cogs. All Box handlebars are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. Handlebars have a dual purpose as they contribute to both steering and pedaling stiffness. By strategically varying wall thicknesses and tube diameters, we have moved material from 3 low-stress areas to zones of high load. This has greatly minimized twists and contributed to responsiveness. Concurrently we have increased pedaling stiffness by providing a backstop to the “lifting” phenomenon. There is no point pushing hard on your pedals if you can’t pull up on your handlebars and deliver that power. Power can easily be lost to handlebar deflection and the consequences can lead to poor power delivery and steering control. When combined with Box’s other Oversized components, you’ll experience heightened responsiveness and reduced latency. Key differences: This particular model handlebar is tailored for medium-sized racers so we decided to use hardened aluminum alloy to reduce unnecessary mass. FEATURES - Oversized™ Technology - Hardened Aluminum - To Reduce Unnecessary Mass for Medium-Sized Racers - Massive Clamp Interface for Steering Stiffness - Variable Wall Thickness to Reduce Weight

There is more to our carbon headsets than their striking good looks. From top to bottom, Box One™ Carbon Headsets was designed to perform. Each unit features a custom CNC-machined aluminum compression cap in the shape of the Box logo with cut-outs to reduce weight. At the center of the compression cap is an anodized aluminum bolt that threads into a gold anodized aluminum expander plug. This expander eliminates the need for a star nut and works with all 1-1/8-inch steerer tubes—even carbon fiber steerer tubes. The bearing cover is crafted from carbon fiber, which not only adds style but helps shave weight. At the heart of the headset are two super-smooth, titanium-nitride coated, sealed, 45×45 bearings. The titanium coating results in a low friction coefficient, increased corrosion resistance, and smoother rolling bearings. A split crown race makes installation and removal from forks super easy. FEATURES - Durable Titanium-Nitride Coated Sealed Bearings - Lightweight Non-Structural Carbon Components - Reusable Expander Wedge SPECIFICATIONS - Bearing Angle: 45° x 45° - Compression Cap: CNC-Machined - Bearing Cover: Carbon Fiber - Expansion Plug: Aluminum - Compression Cap: Aluminum - Finish: TiN Bearings - IS 42/28.6 - IS 42/28.6 - Weight 94 g / 3.3 oz

All Box One and Two cranksets are engineered and crafted using our Oversized Technology. we all know that there is no use pushing hard on your pedals if you can’t deliver most of that power to the rear wheel. During the creation of our cranks, we were obsessed with Power delivery AKA pedaling stiffness. To reduce lateral deflection at the bottom bracket we chose to enlarge the spindle and the crank arm’s interfaces. We robbed material from unloaded sections to reinforce these zones of high stress. Not only are you going to be more efficient with power delivery, but you’ll also feel the instant response of acceleration. Seen through another lens, less energy will be required to achieve the same elapsed time. Key differences: The Box One M30 crankset is just as tyrannical as its big brother the Box One M35. Since it's designed for the smaller rider the now 30mm spindle is as extreme to a smaller rider as the 35mm is to a burly world champion. The crank arms are hollow-forged but reduced in size for their application. It is possible to add too much stiffness where the rider will not feel the benefits. Going beyond that point simply adds material which is surplus weight. We’ve removed the stabilizer rings from the spider and removed unneeded material from its legs. These cranks are engineered for smaller-sized racers. FEATURES - Oversized Technology™ - Hollow Forged Design - Large 30mm Alloy Spindle - Self-Extracting Crank Bolt System IMPORTANT NOTES - BB86 frames require Praxis™ part 86-4001B or 86-4001W. - BB30/PF30 frames require Praxis™ part 68-4001R or 68-5401R. - T47 frames require Praxis™ part 47-0000. - Do not use pedal washers when installing pedals onto these cranks. The Box Two M30-P crankset is a slightly less acute embodiment of our Oversized technology for cranksets. We squeeze in a show-stopping Praxis™ made 30mm that’s been cold-forged from 7075 T6 aluminum and then painstakingly ground to precision. You’ll be relieved to know this will all fit in a European bottom bracket. The crank arms and spider are poached from the Box One M35 model and as a result, you get all that hollow-forged generosity to help you put that power down.
