Going tubeless doesn’t have to entail buying special wheels, and in most cases doesn’t have to entail tubeless tires. This is the cheap ‘n easy way to convert standard rims to UST. The kit looks like one of those things invented in the garage by a guy with too much time and not enough money. So what? Tinkerers have made the bike world so darn interesting, and there is a beauty associated with any garage solution. So utilitarian, so deceptively simple, so appropriately MTB. This kit has everything needed to convert one standard wheelset and tires to tubeless. Two molded rim strips with Presta valve cores. One pint of Stan’s tire sealant with 60g scoop and a spout. One 10-yard role of rim tape. Detailed instructions are included; we recommend following them to the letter. If there’s a concern about sealant, buy an extra quart now to recover from those initial screwups without sidelining the wheels. Should work with most standard MTB rims 24-26" in diameter.
